Bzz Agent Review: Green Mountain Coffee

I have been loving my Keurig brewer ever since my husband bought it for my birthday. Since he rarely drinks coffee, this was perfect for my 1-2 cups in the morning. I was equally excited to see that I was offered the BzzAgent campaign for Green Mountain Coffee. After eagerly awaiting by my mailbox, my first Bzz Package arrived!!

Inside, there were 3 packs each containing 2 samples of Green Mountain's Three Continent Blend. There was also a brochure explaining about GMC's connection to the Fair Trade Coffee. Coffee manufactures who use the Fair Trade logo follow a set standards. These standards insure that farmers in third world countries are paid a fair wage for their labor. Also included were tons of 50% off of Keurig brewers that are only good for this month (10/2013) and only available online. This is the only downfall that I can say about this BzzCampaign. A lot of my friends and family have Keurigs. I feel it would have been easier to bzz had the campaign included coupons for the coffee product. That being said, I am still extremely grateful for being able to try this product for free.

Now, to the taste testing!

I'm not extremely picky on my coffee. I am, however, pick on how I take it. If the coffee is overly strong and bitter, I will add creamer and sugar. I decided to try this coffee without any additives. I was pleasantly surprised how rich and bold the flavor was. There was no strong aftertaste and I didn't feel the need to sweeten it. I couldn't resist trying another cup and I don't see these samples lasting very long!

In conclusion, I would recommend this coffee to anyone who prefers their coffee black but not too strong. I do plan on trying it with additives but I have a feeling that I will prefer without. I will update the blog when I do! Green Mountain Coffee has definitely been added to my grocery list.

Disclaimer: As a BzzAgent, I was compensated with free samples of GMC in exchange for my honest, personal opinion about the product.
